I’ve been having “tap to retry” download errors on my Kindle app, off and on, for a long time, mostly on my iPad, which is WiFi only. Yesterday, I changed WiFi to my iPhone hotspot and voilá! Downloads every time. Clearly a problem with the WiFi and/or cable modem in my house. Doesn’t happen in other locations.
